Customizing This Report
The Identity | Phones | Value Frequency report uses a set of specific filters to refine and target the profiling results displayed. These filters are critical in isolating the most relevant data fields across different Salesforce objects such as Account, Case, and Lead. For example, you can change the Profiling Value Results records based on their Created Date field.
Editing Filter Criteria
You can change the filters by clicking the Filter icon in the report. The opened menu shows which filters are locked that come with each report. You can change these unlocked filters according to your needs and can also add additional filters by clicking the Edit button.
Here’s an overview of the filters applied to this report by default:
Show Me: Displays all profiling value results, ensuring a comprehensive analysis across all available phone field values.
Created Date (Values): Set to "All Time," including all phone value records regardless of when they were created.
Is Latest Summary: Set to "True," ensuring that only the most recent profiling summaries are displayed for up-to-date insights.
Record Type: Set to "Profiling Field," limiting the report to field profiling records rather than other data types.
Profiling Definition Category: Set to "Baseline," focusing on profiling results from the baseline category, typically representing standard profiling criteria.
Profiling Definition Record Type: Set to "CRM," restricting the analysis to phone values associated with CRM records.
Is System Field: Set to "False," excluding system-generated fields to concentrate on user-created or non-system fields.
Value Type: Set to "TOP," meaning only the most frequently occurring phone values are included in the analysis.
Is Empty Value: Set to "False," ensuring that blank or null phone values are excluded from the report.
Is Field Populated (Primary): Set to "True," meaning only fields that contain data are included in the profiling.
Populated Values (Primary): Includes only values that meet a minimum population threshold, ensuring that sparsely populated values are not considered.
Populated Records (% Primary): Set to greater than or equal to 25%, meaning only phone fields with at least a quarter of records populated are shown.
Population Distinctness %: Set to greater than or equal to 90%, ensuring that the analysis focuses on highly unique phone values.
Contact Point Data Type: Set to "Phone," filtering out other data types and ensuring that only phone-related profiling results are displayed.
Adding Fields to the Report
This section guides how to customize the Identity | Phones | Value Frequency report by editing and adding fields, enhancing the report’s relevance and detail for specific organizational requirements.
Open the Identity | Phones | Value Frequency report in your Salesforce environment and click the Edit button.
Select Fields on the left to open the list of all fields available on the object.
Use the Search all fields… option at the top of the Select Fields on the left to open the list of all fields available on the object panel to find specific fields you want to include in the report.
Double-click fields to add them to the list of columns appearing in the report, and drag and drop fields within the Columns list to change their order. You can also drag and drop fields from the list of fields to the Columns list.
Once you have finished editing and adding fields:
Click the Save button to preserve your changes.
To update the report contents based on any changes you made, click Run. This will generate the report based on the current set of filters and fields you’ve configured.
