Launching Cuneiform
All versions of Cuneiform can be launched from anywhere in Salesforce using the App Launcher:
Cuneiform for CRM Home Page
The Cuneiform for CRM home page displays a list of all profiling definitions and summaries, and you can easily access the Profiling Definition Wizard, which you can use to create new profiling definitions. Learn more about navigating the Cuneiform for CRM home page.
The page also includes tabs at the top for quick access to profiling definitions, profiling summaries, profiling field results, profiling value results, profiling KPI results, and profiling requests. For convenience, reports and dashboards are also available.
Custom Object Record Detail Pages
Cuneiform uses custom objects to store profiling definition configurations and results. The record detail pages for each of these custom objects provide details about your profiled records at the field, value, and KPI level.

Profiling Definitions
Profiling definitions represent the configuration used to profile Salesforce objects, fields, and records. Learn more about the profiling definition record detail pages and the information available on them.
Profiling Summaries
Profiling summaries store the results of profiling definitions after they run. Each summary includes field, value, and KPI results from that specific run, serving as a reference point. A new summary is created every time a profiling definition is run, enabling trend analysis. Learn more about the profiling summary record detail pages and the information available on them.
Profiling Field Results
Profiling field results represent field-specific results, enabling you to inspect field utilization, usage, value distributions, and audited configuration metadata. Learn more about the profiling field result record detail pages and the information available on them.
Profiling Value Results
Profiling value results provide data on field values, enabling you to analyze trends in the most and least frequently used field values. Learn more about the profiling value record detail pages and the information available on them.
Data Reliability KPI Results
If a profiling definition is configured to include KPIs, data reliability KPI results provide specific calculations of data reliability KPIs, which you can use to evaluate custom data quality measurements in profiled records and correlate them with business impact assessments. View Caught Profiling Exceptions
Cuneiform for CRM automatically audits any exceptions detected during profiling. These exceptions are accessible via the Cuneiform for CRM home page, the associated profiling definition's record detail page, and the App Launcher. Configuration and Statistics Dashboard
The Configuration and Statistics Dashboard, available through the App Launcher, provides essential information to assess the data quality configuration of objects you’ve profiled with Cuneiform. It consolidates validation rules, duplicate rules, custom field dependencies, and fields configured with data classification metadata into one view.
