Profiling Definition Wizard Button
From any Cuneiform home page, you’ll find the Open Profiling Definition Wizard button on the right-hand side of the page. Clicking this button will launch the Profiling Definition Wizard, which you can use to create a profiling definition. Check out Get Started with Data Profiling for more information on using the Profiling Definition Wizard.
Home Page Tabs
In each Cuneiform for Salesforce application, there are two tabs available from the home page:
Profiling Definitions provides a list of profiling definitions created in your Salesforce org.
Profiling Summaries provides a list of profiling summaries, or the results of profiling definition runs, in your Salesforce org.
Profiling Definitions
The Profiling Definitions tab provides a list-view of profiling definitions created in your Salesforce org. Click any Definition Key (usually PD-####) to view the profiling definition’s record detail page.
The columns in this list view offer a snapshot of the profiling definition’s details, including when it was last run, whether or not it is automated, and more. Use the contents of this tab to see when a profiling definition was last profiled – and click on its Definition Key to view the complete details of the selected definition record.
Please visit Cuneiform for Salesforce Custom Objects for a complete list of the columns and data captured for each profiling definition.
Profiling Summaries
The Profiling Summaries tab provides a list-view of profiling summaries, or the results of profiling definition runs, in your Salesforce org. Click any Summary Key (usually PRS-####) to view the profiling summary’s record detail page.
The columns offer a snapshot of what profiling summaries exist, how many fields were profiled, the profiling status of each summary, the number of records profiled, and the estimated storage for these records. Use the contents of this tab to see what summaries exist, when they were created, the outcome status and what high-level profiling statistics were captured.
Please visit Cuneiform for Salesforce Custom Objects for a complete list of the columns and data captured for each profiling summary.
Congratulations! You’ve completed the walkthrough of the Cuneiform home page – and now understand how to use this page and its tabs to quickly access the Profiling Definition Wizard, existing profiling definitions, and profiling summaries.
