This page introduces the Cuneiform for CRM and Data Cloud profiling value results record detail page. Profiling value results provide data on field values, enabling you to analyze trends in the most and least frequently used field values.

Introduction to Profiling Value Results

Profiling value results provide value-specific profiling statistics for the selected profiling definition. This information includes value utilization and frequency within the profiled field.

Accessing Profiling Value Results

You can access profiling value results from several places in Cuneiform, including any associated profiling summary record detail page (as described on the Profiling Summaries Walkthrough), profiling field results record detail page (as described in the Profiling Field Results Walkthrough), and profiling KPI results record detail page (as described in the Data Reliability KPI Results Walkthrough).

Conveniently, from anywhere in Cuneiform, profiling value results are available from the Profiling Value Results drop-down, as shown below:

The Profiling Value Result Record Detail Page

From a profiling value result record detail page, you can access basic information about the value profiled, parent field, summary, definition, field type, and count of populated values.

Metadata and Configuration Summary

The profiling value result record detail page header includes a summary of the parent field and results, including statistics describing them.

Profiling Status Summary

The status of the most recent profiling definition run.

Field Data Type

The selected field’s data type.

Total Records (Primary)

Describes the total number of records profiled for the primary profiling scenario. Use this to understand the overall profiled record volume.

Populated Records (Primary)

Describes the total number of records populated for the selected field. Use this to contrast the field’s population against the profiled record count.

Populated Values (Primary)

The count of records profiled in the primary scenario where this value was used to populate the field.

Populated Values % (Primary)

The percentage of populated field values profiled in the primary scenario where this value was used to populate the field.

Quick Actions

A profiling value result record detail page includes Quick Action buttons used to view the associated profiling definition, summary, field-level results, and more.

This action navigates you to the value’s parent profiling definition.

Profiling Summary

This action navigates you to the value’s parent profiling summary.

Field Results

This action navigates you to the value’s parent field.

Previous

This action navigates you to the value’s previous set of profiling results.

Latest

This action navigates you to the value’s most recent set of profiling results.

Next

This action navigates you to the value’s next set of profiling results.

Reload

This action reloads the current record detail page. Use this quick action to reload the contents of the record detail and refresh the display. This action is helpful when viewing the record detail of a summary that is actively profiled.

Delete

This action deletes the current profiling value being viewed. The related field statistics will also be deleted.

Observe Key Profiling Details

The Profiling Value Result record detail page gathers profiling value results into separate tabs. These tabs organize key profiling details to offer a clear snapshot of the selected profiling value results.

Value Utilization

The information available in the Value Utilization tab summarizes and compares the selected value’s population count and rate against the other values used to fill the same field.

Value Frequency

The Value Frequency tab displays the parent field's most and least frequently used field value summaries.

Data Reliability KPIs

The Data Reliability KPIs tab displays the data quality and business impact KPIs associated with the value results.

Profiled Fields

The Profiled Fields tab displays the field utilization insights for the profiled object, including the actual field utilization, count of distinct values, and default value usage for each profiled field configured via the parent profiling definition. Additionally, the Profiled Fields tab allows you to sort through by Standard Fields, Custom Fields, Picklist Fields, or Formula Fields.

Record Detail

The Record Detail tab displays all profiling configuration details and statuses associated with the parent profiling summary, definition, and field-level details.
