Customizing This Report
The Profiling Segments | By Populated Values report uses a set of specific filters to refine and target the profiling results displayed. For example, you can change the Profiling Value records based on their Created Date field.
Editing Filter Criteria
You can change the filters by clicking the Filter icon in the report. The opened menu shows which filters are locked that come with each report. You can change these unlocked filters according to your needs and can also add additional filters by clicking the Edit button.
Here’s an overview of the filters applied to this report by default:
Show Me: Displays all profiling value results, ensuring a comprehensive analysis of field value populations across Salesforce objects.
Created Date (Values): Set to "All Time," allowing the report to include values from any time period without restriction.
Is Latest Summary: Set to "True," ensuring only the most recent profiling summaries are displayed, keeping the data up to date.
Record Type: Filters for "Profiling Field," limiting the analysis to field values that have been specifically profiled.
Profiling Definition Category: Set to "Baseline," ensuring that only results from the baseline category are analyzed, typically representing standard profiling scenarios.
Profiling Definition Record Type: Limited to "CRM," focusing the analysis on fields associated with CRM-related objects.
Is Field Empty: Set to "False," ensuring that only fields containing data are considered, excluding empty fields from the analysis.
Is Formula Field: Set to "False," which excludes formula fields, ensuring the report focuses on direct field values rather than calculated ones.
Is Empty Value: Set to "False," meaning that only populated field values are included in the report.
Distinct Values (Primary): Greater than 1 and less than or equal to 100, ensuring that fields with a reasonable range of unique values are analyzed.
Segment Score: Greater than or equal to 50, focusing on fields that meet the minimum segment scoring criteria for analysis.
Is System Field: Set to "False," excluding system-generated fields from the analysis to focus on user-defined fields.
Data Type: Set to "Segment," ensuring that only segment-related field values are included in the report.
Value Type (Segment): Ensures that only segmented values are displayed, allowing for targeted data evaluation.
Adding Fields to the Report

Open the Profiling Segments | By Populated Values report in your Salesforce environment and click the Edit button.
Select Fields on the left to open the list of all fields available on the object.
Use the Search all fields… option at the top of the Select Fields on the left to open the list of all fields available on the object panel to find specific fields you want to include in the report.
Double-click fields to add them to the list of columns appearing in the report, and drag and drop fields within the Columns list to change their order. You can also drag and drop fields from the list of fields to the Columns list.
Once you have finished editing and adding fields:
Click the Save button to preserve your changes.
To update the report contents based on any changes you made, click Run. This will generate the report based on the current set of filters and fields you’ve configured.
