Detailed Instructions

Perform the following steps to duplicate the schedule flow template:

  1. From the Setup menu, use the Quick Find to search for flows and select the Flows option.

  2. In the flows list view, locate and select the flow labeled Cuneiform: Exception Logs: Purge Records: Schedule Flow.

  3. Click the Save As button to create a copy of the flow, which you'll modify to meet your exception log purging needs.

  4. Specify a unique Label and API Name describing this flow and consider including the action the flow is automating.

    1. In this example, we title the flow Cuneiform: Scheduled Exception Log Purging to describe the flow’s action. We also recommend using a consistent prefix (ex., Cuneiform: Scheduled).

  5. In the Description field, type a description of what the flow is automating.

    1. In this example, our description reads, "This flow automates the regular purging of exception logs related to profiling definitions." The purpose and characteristics of automated processes should be documented to ensure that Admins understand these processes and their purpose.

  6. Click the Save button to create the new flow with the Label, API Name, and Description specified.

Congratulations! You can now move on to the next step in automating purging exception logs:
