KPI Results: Data Reliability KPIs

The Data Reliability KPIs tab displays the data quality and business impact KPI calculations captured for the current profiling summary. Use the combination of these KPIs to assess how reliable and fit-for-purpose your CRM data is. By correlating data quality KPIs to business impact KPIs, you can measure whether and how the quality of your CRM data impacts business outcomes.

Introducing the Data Reliability KPIs Tab

The Data Reliability KPIs tab displays the Data Quality and Business Impact KPI calculations captured during profiling for the current profiling summary. These calculations measure profiled data’s quality and business performance for a given Salesforce object.

Data Quality KPIs

Data quality KPIs are Salesforce formula fields that generate percentage or checkbox calculations expressing data quality measurements for a Salesforce object. Data quality KPIs usually measure:

  • Record completeness

  • Field consistency

  • Field correctness

  • Record timeliness (or freshness)

Business Impact KPIs

Business impact KPIs are aggregatable Salesforce fields used to measure business performance for a Salesforce object. The business agrees upon these KPIs as a common way to measure impact. Business impact KPIs usually measure:

  • Amount or size of revenue

  • Likelihood of producing an outcome

  • Time spent producing an outcome

  • Outcome success rate

Explore Data Reliability KPI Calculations

View Profiling Details

The Records Summary summarizes the profiling scope for the selected profiling summary. It highlights the total number of records profiled overall, the total number profiled for each profiling scenario, and the KPI Coverage statistics for the selected KPI field.

Analyze Data Reliability KPI Calculations

The Data Reliability KPI results list view displays the KPI calculations captured during profiling for the selected Profiling Summary. Use these calculations to understand the data quality scores (on a scale of 0-100%) for profiled records and their corresponding business impact measurement.

Use the Data Reliability KPI Results list view to view data quality and business impact calculations generated for the current Profiling Summary. Click on the KPI Name field to view KPI trends.

You can select any KPI from this list to navigate to the KPI Result Record Detail, which provides more detailed information on the KPI (the KPI record detail page includes KPI trends captured for the parent profiling definition).

The following collection of fields is displayed in the Data Reliability KPI Results list-view.

Column Name

Column Description

KPI Link

Name of the KPIs used when profiling records included in profiling definition.

Profiling Status

Describes the profiling status for a given KPI field.

KPI Type

Describes the type of KPI for a given field. Valid values are DATA QUALITY and BUSINESS IMPACT.

Total Records Profiled

Describes the total number of records profiled for a given profiling summary across all profiling scenarios.

KPI Record
Coverage (Primary)

Describes the total number of records profiled for the primary profiling summary.

KPI Total Record Coverage % (Primary)

Describes the percentage of profiled primary scenario records used to perform KPI calculations (higher values are more trustworthy).

Sum

Represents the sum of a Business Impact KPI. This value is the sum of all profiled field values for a specific Business Impact KPI field.

Avg

Represents the average (including zeros) of a Data Reliability KPI. It is also the average (including zeros) of all profiled field values for a specific KPI field.

Avg (IF)

Represents the average (excluding zeros) of a Data Reliability KPI. It is also the average (excluding zeros) of all profiled field values for a specific KPI field.

Min

Represents the minimum (including zeros) of a Data Reliability KPI. It is the minimum (including zeros) value found from all profiled field values for a specific KPI field.

Min (IF)

Represents the minimum (excluding zeros) of a Data Reliability KPI. It is the minimum (excluding zeros) value found from all profiled field values for a specific KPI field.

Max

Represents the maximum value found for a Data Reliability KPI. It is the maximum found from all profiled field values for a specific KPI field.

Sum

Represents the sum of a Business Impact KPI. This value is the sum of all profiled field values for a specific Business Impact KPI field.
